The action continues to pick up in today's minute as Tony continues to chit chat with the marines in his Humvee before the convoy is ambushed.
In today's episode, I discuss the history of Maxim Magazine including who was atop the Maxim Hot 100 list in 2007 and 2008 when Iron Man was made. There is one connection between those lists and the MCU. Following that, I talk about the actors who play the marines in the Humvee with Tony, Kevin Foster, Garret Noel, and Eileen Weisinger. I wrap things up with a discussion of early social network MySpace.

I also talk about the overall action of the minute and give some background on Kunar Province, Afghanistan, the setting for this minute and much of the action to follow in the film. Finally, I finish things out with a little tidbit I'd never noticed in the film, until I paused it at the one minute mark to make this podcast. |
